1. The Entrance Examination will be held on 31-01-2010.
There will be two papers of  75 marks each. Ist Paper will start at 10 AM and II Paper will start at 3 PM. First Paper will consist of 5 questions pertaining to Research Methodology and Statistics. The Second Paper will consist of 50 questions of objective type and on the subject . The duration of the first paper will be 3 hours and the second paper will be of 1 hour.

2. A candidate having second class master's degree with at least 55% marks in an allied subject, approved by RDC may apply for registration. Their case will be placed before RDC for consideration, under Interdisciplinary approach. A person holding MBBS or BAMS degree with 3 years standing is also eligible for Registration for the degree of Ph.D.

3.Persons holding M.Phil degree are exempted from the course work.

4. The candidates who want their registration in Oriental Studies should select such topic of Research which focus on any aspect of Vedic Science or Indian Culture.

5. The registration and Examination Fee are Rs. 200 and 300 respectively. The students who have deposited Rs. 200 as Registration Fee are required to pay Rs. 300 as Entrance Examination Fee before the commencement of the Examination.

6. The students who pass the written test will be called for interview on 7th Feb. 2010.

7. The selected candidate will be informed by Registered Post.

8. The selected candidates will join Course Work of one semester duration. After completing the Course Work the candidate shall be examined and the successful candidate will prepare the synopsis which they will discuss in Pre Registration Seminar.

9. The candidates will incorporate the suggestions given to them in Pre Registration Seminar in their Synopsis.

10. Afterwards the synopsis will be sent to RDC for approval.

11. The Research Scholars are required to pay Rs. 300 per month as Tuition Fee. They will submit the Progress Report after every 3 months along with the Tuition Fee.
