 DSVV bagged 3 Golds in National Women Yoga Championship

DSVV participated in the National Women Yoga Competition, organized by National Yoga Federation at Chennai from 11-13th December, 2009. Participants from 13 states of India had come to become a part of this Yoga Carnival. Our Teachers from the School of Yoga and Health, Psychology participated in the competition and performed very well, their names are :-
1. Dr. Indu Sharma - Gold Medal (age group 26-30)
2. Smt. Gayatri Gurvendra - Gold Medal (age group 30-40)
3. Ms. Shobhana Dave - Gold Medal (age group 50-60)
4. Ms. Archana Kumari - Bronze Medal (age group 26-30)
This group was managed by the group leader Dr. Amrit Lal Gurvedra Lecturer who along with Dr. Indu Sharma both from School of Yoga and Health also act as the Judges in different age groups of the competition. |
