DSVV-IGNOU Distance Convergence program

The Indira Gandhi National Open University established by an Act of Parliament in 1985, is one of the leading universities in the world with knowledge and capabilities in the area of Open and Distance Learning. The University provides seamless access to education at all levels ranging from Awareness Programs to Doctoral Degrees. It provides Self Learning Materials (SLMs) strongly supported by multimedia learning packages and internet-based pedagogy. Latest technological aids and support through satellite based education are also being used to address the areas of convergence of educational systems and enhance flexible and blended learning.

Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidalaya has established the Center for Distance Education in 2008 which is duly approved by Distance Education Council for Certificate and Diploma Level programs.

Through the convergence program Undergraduate/Postgraduate students of the respective institution and adjoining institutions may enroll for Certificate/Diploma programs of IGNOU as a value-added program. The mode of program transaction will be ODL in the DSVV programs.

DSVV has opted to host the program through ODL, and IGNOU will provide the course
Material and the faculty will be oriented to transact the curriculum.
