Abstract:

The present work is aimed to study the impact of Kapalbhati, Vaman and Bhramari Pranayama on college going students(age group 18-25 years ) of J.S. Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, Saptrishi Ashrama, Hardwar. Total samples were 40 males. They belonged to 12th standard and practice Yoga daily for one hour in the morning, in which I included Kapalbhati, Vaman, Bhramari Pranayam for two months. All the Psychological and Physiological tests were measured in Brahmavarchas Research center Shanti Kunj Hardwar.

By statistical analysis it has been observed that there is a significant relationship between the practice of Kapalbhati, Vaman and Bhramari on Haemoglobin, E.S.R., F.V.C., Physical and mental health.

Introduction:

Now days due to the ignorance of Yoga Sadhana , mental and physical diseases are flourishing at a great speed and have imposed a serious question mark on the Modern Curing System being practiced today. Even modern medical technology has no solution for these kind of diseases. Various psychosomatic diseases originate from deftness of mind and appear on body. According to www.google.com search results, about 16700000 data are related to mental disorders.

Today different techniques of Yoga are used to cure several physical and mental diseases and are proved practical. Several Yogic practices make impact on body as well as on mind, which is revealed through research reports on Internet, Yoga conference, research paper, and Yogic literature. I observe effect on Haemoglobin, E.S.R., F.V.C. and Physical and Mental Health.

The procedure of above-mentioned work is as follows:-

Conclusion:

Yoga is a great gift that has its origin in Indian Civilization. In One side it is a science to convert ordinary person into a divine personality and on the other hand it provides ways for salvation. It is a process of total health. Data those were collected by me through statistical analysis are significant and very surprising. Now a days there are several physical and mental diseases emerging throughout the world. Yoga can be an accurate solution for all these diseases. The need is to research and convert the aspects of theoretical knowledge into practical aspect in this field. In the last I would like to conclude myself that we should return towards our own Indian tradition and utilize our treasure of knowledge along with the scientific methods of western knowledge. We should try to mix up both the concepts to find out solution of complicated and acute problems .
